MOSSY's Mining Blog

The assignment I received to undertake a general survey of Copper Deposit D-73 in Sector SIERRA should have come with a warning about the extremely high number of Sand Pump holes in the area. I still might have done a cartwheel and fallen down one of those gigantic holes regardless but at least then I would feel like it was my fault.

The good news though is that it led me to a whole new plant I'd never seen before! I swear even if this thing is definitely a barnacle it looks so much like a custard bun that I wanted to immediately bite into it. At the very least I thought it might make a good gift for WISP who apparently went off on some kind of mission got sick and is now in some kind of quarantine?

Just when things were going great. The next time I saw them I was going to say at least one (1) thing.

And it isn't just WISP - I'm hearing that a lot of people went on that mission and got sick and now they're all being kept together somewhere? That's why I've decided to do something about it. After this blog entry I'm going to find WISP and everybody else too!

Maybe they're all perfectly fine! And I'll be really embarrassed! And probably court-martialled!

But I'm doing this for somebody else. And since maybe you've read all these blog entries I'll tell you a big secret: I've never really done something for somebody else in my entire life.

It never felt like it mattered. I don't know.

It does now.

Bunbarns were a mid-sized fungi native to desert Areas of Calyx. With a unique, pastry-like texture and syruppy internals more reminiscent of a fruit than any other form of plant life, Bunbarns were evaluated but ultimately dismissed as a potential source of recreational Food due to their extreme acidity
