MOSSY's Mining Blog

Does everybody know I'm Canadian? I keep telling people but nobody seems to care. I was reminded of it today when I got sent out to evaluate Iron Deposit L-54 in Sector SIERRA though! And unlike everybody else I do care! That was why I was so excited to come across something that reminded me of home: A maple tree! With thingamos on it that look just like maple leaves!

In this case of course the things that look like maple leaves would probably burn my hand clean off. But that isn't the point. I sat under the tree and leaned against it and I almost felt like I was home again. I started thinking about WISP and how much I'd like to show them the little park I grew up in - especially in the fall when all the maple leafs (leaves? that sounds wrong) fall down and they crunch under your feet.

And then just as I was about to shake off all this nostalgia WISP appeared out of nowhere! And sat down next to me! They didn't say anything and neither did I. Which was good. Because I couldn't. It was too intense.

Maybe they feel the same way.

Iron Deposit L-54 was fantastic. It was the best iron deposit I've ever seen in my life.

The Maple Titan was a large, radiantly uminescent tree pecies native to desert areas of Calyx. Despite xisting prohibitions on wooden structures under ANEXCAL doctrine, it was additionally designated as protected from expeditionary demolition to preserve both the light it generated and to avoud expending resources on he relatively insubstantial amount of Plantmatter it yielded.
