Since it never rains on Calyx, you wouldn't expect that I would be assigned so frequently to go out and measure the ambient moisture in the air - and you certainy wouldn't expect a lovely little mushroom shaped just like a parasol!

I'm trying to remember if an umbrella is a type of parasol or if it goes the oter way around. Maybe all umbrellas are parasols, but not all parasols are umbrellas? Anyways, in olden times a bunch of rich ladies would carry parasols with them everywhere as a fasion accessory, which couldn't have been convenient. I wonder how they would feel about the vibrant neon of these little guys, and what they would say if they could see me here right now, dancing, spinning around the pole of an Overhead light and singing my heart out ~

The hygrometer registers the current humidity in Sector VICTOR at 75%.

Parashrooms were distinctly-shaped fungi native to many areas of Calyx, each of which possessed unique characteristics related to the areas in which they grew. Expedition scientists made one of their first significant discoveries on Calyx when they determined that the coloration of Parashrooms were related to a mechanism of feeding on the poisons emitted by other plants in their enviroment.
