Apologies but since my requests for a hearing have gone unanswered I must use this report to register my strenuous objection to the nomenclature 'system' for all flora discovered within Calyx that Command has proposed. Lieutenant DRYAD and many other members of our staff share my concerns.

While we appreciate that the reports filed by MOSSY (and the evocative imagery they contain) do lend themselves to inspiring 'memorable' and 'catchy' names they are also extremely colloquial and informal - to an extent that we do not believe is appropriate given the nature and seriousness of our mission.

Furthermore MOSSY is neither a member of this department nor qualified in any field of the biological sciences. This decision not only undermines and demeans our staff but damages the morale of his peers in geology as well. Are you aware that MOSSY has completed less than ten percent of their own assigned mineral surveys? What would become of ANEXCAL if all of us were rewarded for ignoring our duties to pursue our own interests?
